I was out at the coast last week, and this scene caught my attention. I think a lot about experiencing the moment verse photographing it, especially on vacations or baby firsts or special days like weddings. I've been at weddings where the bride and groom are never around because they are busy having there photos taken.
This is why I feel it's so important as a photographer to observe and capture unobtrusively. Of course posed shots are great to have as well but the moment or day should be experienced and not just looked back upon remembering nothing but having lots of photos taken.
